Course Overview:

This course contains a webinar prior to the lecture, as well as a hands-on portion in the second half of the course.

Proper soft tissue esthetics and health are keys to success in dental treatment. Yet, many dentists lack the skills and knowledge to address common soft tissue deficiencies and other problems. Dr. Simon will explore the most common soft tissue problems and the methods he uses to resolve them for a good esthetic outcome. He will explain in a step-by-step way soft tissue grafting methods, flap designs and the appropriate suturing technique. The hands-on exercise will include practicing incisions, flaps, tissue harvesting and suturing on specimens.
This course is designed to create clarity in surgery and allow dentists to achieve soft tissue success for their patients.

  • Types of soft tissue recession and their treatment
  • Poor tissue quality and frenum pull and surgical solution
